I just returned last Sunday from Las Vegas visiting there for work, and I also had the great opportunity to attend the AVN convention there too. It was a blast! I worked my ass off, and partied just as hard after hours. I think I got a total of about 6 hours of sleep while I was there.

This was my first visit to Vegas, and I tell you, I will definately go back soon! I had fun at the blackjack tables, at one point I was up $80, but then down again. Ultimately, I left about $60 in the hole.. but I had a fun time, that's all that counts. The slots, eck, I should stay away from them... nothing but loose loose and more loose. I didn't know this, but while you are playing on the tables, they give you drink after drink for free!! I guess they count on getting you drunk, so you spend all your money.

The only down-side to it all, was the smoke. Every place was smoke-ridden. The hotel I stayed at was just plastered with smoke in the air, to the point my eyes were constantly red, and nasty feeling... I'm glad I'm back home, and the air is clean.

That's all for now!! I'm still recovering from it all....

Last night, I had an interesting New Year...

Originally, I was going to spend it at home with the TV set... watching god knows what.... but then at the last moment, a friend invited me out to spend New Years with her. So I said OK.... We went to this place that was known to be a Whore House (not anymore)... it was rather cool, the crowd was older... cheap drinks, no cover charge... and they had free food at midnight! Can't beat that...

I only had two beers that night, and a glass of champagne to cheer New Years with... due to the fact that the cops were out in force!! Didn't want to take any chances...

went home, and crashed...

Sorry for taking forever to update my journal.. but real busy at work, and otherwise that I just have not had the time. I've had a great Christmas so far, and just before that even better.

A good friend of mine visited the area princessjunkie with her new husband piercer12! It was great seeing her again, she's as beautiful as I remember. Her husband is a lucky guy! He seems like a genuine person, and really loves her, which is awesome.

Then, I met this girl... Lets call her "J"... Really was smitten over her, we went out for a date about a week ago - has sushi, and then went out to the local irish pub for some drinks and live music. We really clicked, I thought... she started rubbing my leg, holding hands... and then afterwards I was invited up. We sat, talked, started kissing... got rather hot & heavy... but then before things got out of hand, I decided I should be a gentleman and leave. I gave her a big kiss, and told her I'd call her the next day.

Well.. the next day, she told me that she needed space and time... and that I may not be the right person for her. I was shattered, though kept my composure... She said she still wants to be friends, and that we connected that way. Ok, I thought... she is real cool, and I really enjoy being with her... so I said cool, that woudl be awesome! She invited me to the zoo, and I said OK... we went, had tons of fun. It was a really different zoo, one where you are actually there with the animals. For instance, the giraffes were right in front of us, we could feed them, pet them, and so forth... There was one area where they had Tapirs, which are ugly pig looking animals with ant eater noses. We were leaning on the railing, watching one of them on front of us wiggling about, looking like it was about to sit. Then all of the sudden, it pissed!! But it was not normal piss, it was projectile piss!! And it was aimed towards us. Luckily we were quick, and moved out of the way - and prevent from being soaked by Tapir piss!! We laughed about that one, was rather fun....

Then later that day I went to a friends place for a fish fry! They had caught 85 crappe fish the other week, and was frying them up.. yum, I enjoyed it quite abit. They also steamed 300 clams, and a bunch of other stuff... plus lots of beer! I think I ate enough fish to last a lifetime, but it was good.

I think I may go fishing with them on the 3rd! Its been years and years since I've done that.
